Peshmerga units and soldiers of the Iraqi Golden Division have arrived in Rabia at the northern border to Sinjar a few minutes ago. Due to the continual offensive ISIS terrorists have launched on their supply line, Ezidi forces were cut off from their reinforcement as well as ordnance, a fighter of the defense force of Dugure told ezidiPress.
In the meantime, U.S. fighter jets are conducting air strikes against ISIS positions north of Sinjar. The Kurdish and Iraqi units will, as soon as the way will be cleared for them, march towards Sinjar.
The long-awaited heavy weaponry, including artillery and armoured vehicles which the Ezidis had frequently asked for since the beginning of their war of resistance, is expected to arrive together with the reinforcement.
